Players injured on International duty, who pays?
Do the respective FA,s compensate the clubs in any way for this, wages, treatment costs, compensation etc?

Going to be some seriously pissed of clubs around Europe following these internationals

See Tim Krul from an already fucked looking Newcastle has been ruled out for the rest of the season whilst playing for Holland, Man City have lost Silva and Aguero, Chelsea, Ivanavic and Matic, although the form Ivanacic has been in, he will hopefully be back for the trip to UP !!!!!

Other notable injuries to Pogba, Benzama and David Luiz, plus a host of others.

According to Physio Room only JOB is a long term injury. Everyone else apart from Alex Song should be available for next weekend, and Song back for the following week.

With our injured players coming back we will be pretty much at full strength by the end of the month!

The longer none of our players are picked to play internationals the better!

Players have insurance provided by themselves their agent, their club and or their FA,

Its an area that gets little discussion with and by the clubs or other parties

* looks at Payet in nice cotton wool box*
Good , innit?

Losing Krul is a disaster for Newcastle, didn't realise it was the rest of the season. Didn't they have some really young reserve keeper last season? Maybe Steve Harper will come back at 48.

In England the FA pays compensation to clubs for players injured on International duty.
